Timeline of Trinity

The Christian doctrine of the Trinity holds that God is one God, but three co-eternal consubstantial persons ('hypostases') - the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit - as one God in three Divine Persons. The three Persons are distinct, yet are one substance, essence or nature ('homoousios').

The Trinity doctrine is central to the Christian faith and is woven into Jesus' words:
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit'
The Timeline shows the development and 'fine-tuning' of the Christian Trinity, over the 418 years following Jesus' crucifixion.

Jesus' Ministry, 30-33 AD

During his lifetime, Jesus was a Jewish prophet figure who preached in Aramaic and Hebrew from the Old Testament, or Jewish Bible (Torah). Jesus' Creed was that of an orthodox Jewish rabbi, to worship the one, true God, and worship none besides Him.

Ebionites were the earliest Christians, and followers of Jesus.
