Aerial photographs and video of the Canaanite and Israelite city of Gezer. The Canaanite city was alloted to the Israelite tribe of Ephraim. Eventually King Solomon fortified Gezer (1 Kings 9:16-17). Today Gezer is a mound of accumulated debris called a "tel". Ruins of biblical cities like Gezer are evidence that the Bible is associated in a facts-on-the-ground way with real places, people and events.
