More than half of the world’s population has now been asked or ordered by their government to stay at home, in an attempt to curb the spread of COVID-19. Doctors across the globe have rushed to the frontline to manage this unprecedented crisis, often plagued by a lack of resources and overburdened health-care systems.
We talked to five hospital doctors in various hot-spots across the world — The U.S., U.K., Italy, Belgium and South Korea — to hear what it’s like for them, and what they want you to understand about this pandemic. While their experiences differ, and they are finding out new information about the virus every day, there is one thing all of them want you to know: the lockdown measures are working - so continue social distancing and washing your hands.
