Video Description (from Youtube)
Muslim audiences cheer when Dr. Zakir Naik quotes the Hebrew text of Song of Solomon 5:16 and claims that it's a prophecy of Muhammad. The problem is that Dr. Naik (of Peace TV) has no clue what he's saying, and doesn't even know how to pronounce the Hebrew. Moreover, if we take his translation seriously, we end up finding Muhammad mentioned in numerous places in the Old Testament, in ways that Muslims will not appreciate.
An even greater problem is that Dr. Naik refuses to be corrected. Whether we look at videos of Dr. Zakir Naik 2016, or Dr. Zakir Naik 2017, or Dr. Zakir Naik 2018, or Dr. Zakir Naik 2019, he continues to make the same blunders in his his Islamic lectures.
In Song of Songs 5:16, Solomon's bride says of her husband, "His mouth is most sweet, and he is altogether desirable. This is my beloved and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem." According to Zakir Naik, however, the verse should be translated as: "His mouth is most sweet, and he is Muhammad. This is my beloved and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem."
