Video Description (from Youtube)
Shaykh Yasir Qadhi represents a new generation of Muslim scholars and leaders. However, they face many of the same challenges that have vexed an earlier generation of Muslim activists and intellectuals. Foremost among these, perhaps, is how to harness the tremendous potential of the Muslim youth for positive action. In this lecture, Sh. Qadhi addresses this issue touching on topics ranging from building faith in the hearts of those youth who have strayed away from the community, to entering compassion into the hearts of those who are attracted to calls for nihilistic violence.
