Scripture: Quran - Chapter 91

And by the sun and its brightness;

QURAN 91:1

And by the moon as it follows it (the sun);

QURAN 91:2

And by the day as it shows up (the sun's) brightness;

QURAN 91:3

And by the night as it conceals it (the sun);

QURAN 91:4

And by the heaven and Him Who built it;

QURAN 91:5

And by the earth and Him Who spread it,

QURAN 91:6

And by Nafs (Adam or a person or a soul, etc.), and Him Who perfected him in proportion;

QURAN 91:7

Then He showed him what is wrong for him and what is right for him;

QURAN 91:8

Indeed he succeeds who purifies his ownself (i.e. obeys and performs all that Allah ordered, by following the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds).

QURAN 91:9

And indeed he fails who corrupts his ownself (i.e. disobeys what Allah has ordered by rejecting the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism or by following polytheism, etc. or by doing every kind of evil wicked deeds).

QURAN 91:10

Thamud (people) denied (their Prophet) through their transgression (by rejecting the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism, and by following polytheism, and by committing every kind of sin).

QURAN 91:11

When the most wicked man among them went forth (to kill the she-camel).

QURAN 91:12

But the Messenger of Allah [Salih (Saleh)] said to them: "Be cautious! Fear the evil end. That is the she-camel of Allah! (Do not harm it) and bar it not from having its drink!"

QURAN 91:13

Then they denied him and they killed it. So their Lord destroyed them because of their sin, and made them equal in destruction (i.e. all grades of people, rich and poor, strong and weak, etc.)!

QURAN 91:14

And He (Allah) feared not the consequences thereof.

QURAN 91:15

Say, We believe in God and what was sent down to us, and what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, and what was given to Moses, Jesus and all the Prophets by their Lord
Quran 2:136

Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me

The Creator of the heavens and the earth. He has made for you mates from yourselves, and for the cattle (also) mates. By this means He creates you (in the wombs)
Quran 42:11

O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians): Come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allah
Quran 3:64

I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me

Quran 4:163

Blessed be He Who has placed in the heaven big stars, and has placed therein a great lamp (sun), and a moon giving light. And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession
