Republican politician and school teacher Julianne Benzel has said she fears US churches are being forced to accept same sex marriage and that American society is being indoctrinated to accept gay lifestyles.Speaking to talkRADIO's Cristo, she said: "The trajectory has been that it's not just gay marriage or the acceptance of a gay lifestyle that they want.
"What I have seen as an educator in the public school system is the complete indoctrination that you must agree, that you must believe."
It comes as Pope Francis declared same-sex couples should be allowed civil unions, in the documentary Francesco.
"Homosexual people have a right to be in a family. They are children of God and have a right to a family. Nobody should be thrown out or made miserable over it," he said.
