Robert Eisenman is an American Biblical scholar, writer, historian, archaeologist, and "road" poet who led the campaign to free up access to the Dead Sea Scrolls in the 1980s and 90s, and, as a result of this campaign, is widely known for a unique theory that combines "Essenes" with Palestinian Messianism . Robert Eisenman talks about the dead sea scrolls and islam .
