20-year-old Ahmad Tazaza’a died in Israeli custody after being held under administrative detention without charge.His mother tells MEE she convinced him to surrender to Israeli forces, believing jail would protect him:
“I told him to hand himself in… I thought he’d be safe. They returned him to me dead.”
Israel continues to withhold his body, leaving the family unable to bury their son.
