The prophet Muhammad is mentioned in the Bible.

God has placed numerous signs in his Scriptures. One of these signs is when God informs people about a prophet He will send. Below are a few Bible verses which point towards the coming of Muhammad.

1Abraham is Blessed
And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing

God promises Abraham that his descendants are blessed.
2Father to Nations
As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations

God tells Abraham he will father many nations.
3Hagar, Wife to Abraham
And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife. And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes

Ishmael was Abraham's son and Hagar was Abraham's wife.
4Rights of Firstborn
If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated. Then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn. But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, by giving him a double portion of all that he hath: for he is the beginning of his strength; the right of the firstborn is his

God tells us the traditional rights of the first-born son are not to be affected by the social status of the mother (as Abraham's wife Sarah was a free woman and Hagar his bondwoman).

In fact, Ishmael is described as a source of strength for Abraham, and the first-born rights go to Ishmael.
5Ishmael, the Firstborn Child
And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed

Hagar gave birth to Ishmael who was Abraham's firstborn Son. God reveals he will make a 'great nation' from Hagar's son, Ishmael
6Ishmael, a Great Nation
And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation

God reveals he will make a 'great nation' from Hagar's son, Ishmael
7A Comforter
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you

God tells us about a Comforter to come (after Jesus)

The Holy Spirit was the Comforter
Many Christians would claim the Comforter refers to the Holy Sprit. But this is a false claim, as the verse states the Comforter can only come after Jesus departs. The Holy Spirit was always present on earth before and during the life of Jesus Christ. This is evidenced in his numerous interventions throughout Jesus' ministry.
8Spirit of Truth
I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you unto all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come. He shall glorify me

Jesus tells us about the Sprit of Truth to come
9Muhammad, the Unlearned Prophet
And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned

God tells of an unlearned prophet to come in the future. This prophecy was fulfilled 600-years after Jesus by the prophet Muhammad. When the Angel Gabrial commanded Muhammad to read, he replied "I am not learned" (i.e. I cannot read as I am illiterate).

Under the lineage of Abraham's first-born, Ishmael came Muhammad.   Prophet Tree
10Prophet like Moses   Prophet Like Unto Moses
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him

Al-Maghribi identified prophet Muhammad as the subject of this verse. He believed that in this context the "brothers" of the Israelites meant the Ishmaelites. His logic was that because the word used for brothers is singular it had to mean a brother tribe. If the Jews claim this word is mentioned elsewhere in the Bible regarding Israelites; the same word was used to refer to the Edomites, children of Esau in Deuteronomy 2:4. Samau'al al-Maghribi (1130–1180 AD), a Muslim mathematician, astronomer and physician
11Prophet from Mecca
And he said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them

Al-Maghribi also considered this to be a reference to Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. It speaks of God sending a prophet to Sinai (Moses), then another to the village of Sa'ir near Jerusalem (Jesus) and the last prophet was sent to Paran, where Ishmael settled (Muhammad).
12The Holy One from Paran
God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

Some read the verse "[God's help] came from [Tayma, an Oasis North of Medina], yea, [Muhammad] from [Mecca, he traveled to Medina after being persecuted]. His glory covered the heavens and his splendor filled the earth"
